Beta Mu Nu Chapter Awarded the Fatherhood Initiative & Youth Mentoring and Mr. Benjamin Daniels awarded Father of the Year.

The 46th Annual Alabama Statewide Organization meeting of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was held in Dothan, AL on October 14 – 16, 2022. At this state meeting, Beta Mu Nu Chapter to be awarded the 2021 – 2022 Fatherhood Initiative and Youth Mentoring Award for their work and dedication to the Lifting As We Climb Foundations Black Rhinos of Alabama Mentoring Program. Mr. Benjamin Daniels was also awarded the Father of the Year award. (Award Accepted by Bro. Lionel Copeland on Bro. Daniels behalf). Mr. Daniels is a commonly recognized mentor for the Lifting As We Climb Foundation Black Rhinos of Alabama Mentoring Program since its inception in 2017. His activity within the Black Rhinos Mentoring Program has been outstanding as he served as a site leader for several high school programs with GEARUP.
